THE 12 MPI (indicators) of the PEMEX-SSPA SYSTEM combine and take advantage of the best international practices and experiences achieved by PETROLEOS MEXICANOS: They are adapted to the functional structure and to the implementation strategy of PETROLEOS MEXICANOS. They comprise the essential characteristics of international standards and benefit from the technical regulations/technical acquis of SIASPA and PROSSPA. They are aligned to the process of SSPA as specified: •Conceptual aspects 1. Commitment and visible and demonstrated leadership 2.Policy of SSPA 3. Management responsibility Structural aspects 4. Organisational structure 5.Goals and objectives 6.High quality standards 7.Role of function of SSPA •Operational aspects 8.Effective audits 9.Investigation and analysis of incidents 10.Qualification and training 11.Effective communication 12.Enhancement of motivation The film tries to enable workers to clearly recognize their role in regard to the 12 best practices of the PEMEX SSPA system and its application in daily operations. The objective is effectively prevention of incidents and improvement of the quality standard of occupational safety and health and environmental protection (SSPA) in the whole company. An important international organisation connected with the world of oil wants to learn all about the success achieved by PEMEX with regard to the implementation of the internationally twelve best practices and sends three of its best auditors to the country. Yet, not all come with the same intentions, one of them wants to discredit PEMEX regardless of what it costs. Will this person carry out the devastating plans? Or will the capacity, efficiency and heroism of the staff prevent this? Intrigue, suspense and of course romance are the main aspects of the story in which the capacity, knowledge and heroism of the protagonist are tested.

Objectif et finalité

Motivate the staff of PEMEX exploration and production to take pride in being a worker in the oil industry. Moreover, demonstrate the importance of the company internationally, its development and magnitude. The film focusses on the importance of safety measures and risk prevention to safeguard the physical integrity of the workers, the safety of installations and the protection of the environment.
