A critical sequence of operations is assessed by as many employees as possible who know the work procedures and carry them out occasionally. Assessment scales to assess the probability of occurrence and magnitude of damage associated with the critical operations are predetermined. The employees assess the process according to their professional and life experience. By multiplying the values of probability of occurrence and magnitude of damage a personal risk value is calculated, which afterwards can be compared with others.
Objectif et finalité
Risk assessment determines the preventive behaviour. Thus it is the goal to raise underestimaded risks to a realistic magnitude through early recognition of the risk, realistic assessment and adequate behaviour.
