The BGN app for apprentices “Embarking on a career – fit and healthy” is a smartphone app which specifically addresses apprentices in the restaurant sector. By means of a leading figure, the development of a positive self-perception of the apprentices is encouraged. As figureheads, among others, the star cook Juan Amador and the cook of the year Christian Sturm-Willms could be gained to tell in short video interviews about their training period. The app offers background information and interactive tools on the topics career, stress and relaxation, sleep, nutrition and exercise: Thus, among other things with the help of a test, you can find out more about your sleeping habits and develop your optimal sleep rhythm. Or you learn more about healthy eating – even if you work shifts. Of course, qualified apprentices can also benefit from the contents.
